About the religious thing. Haven't you ever raised your kundalini? You have a pineal gland sitting right between your eyes. Haven't you ever used it? You need to go down to the Amazon, find you a Shaman, and get him to teach you how to drink ayahuasca. There's other drugs that might do the same thing, if you have the proper intentions, psychological fortitude and ability to let your ego dissolve. Or you could meditate. The God thing isn't hard to realize. It is staring at you every morning in the mirror, you just don't see.

I do appreciate your investment of time. Since I don't type well, I must be brief. There has always been a ruling elite. For the past 200 years, a group of international bankers have formed a cartel and created organizations and infiltrated institutions for the purpose of global domination over all peoples and control of all resources on the planet. The only reason this concept is so alien and virtually impossible to grasp for the normal person, is that we can't even imagine this type of evil. That a human being at the pinnacle of wealth, power, prestige, fame, nobility, could be an egomaniac, psychopathic, megalomaniac, satanic. But they are. Think about it. All of the mafia dons came from the ghettos. They used street smarts and skills to move up the ladder to the top. The power elite come from money, go to the best schools, are groomed, given golden keys. They formed networks, affiliations, secret societies. They own the media. That's why you never hear mention of those subjects like the CFR, TC, BB, Bohemian Grove, except by TV shows that mock and ridicule and trick you into believing that people who fall for those silly conspiracy theories are gullible. You don't understand the difference between us and them. But them is not the commies, or muslims, or radicals, or liberals. It's those several thousand richest family's that own, perhaps, 50% of the entire wealth in the world. But that's not enough for them. You are giving them far more credit than you should. Didn't you see the Matrix? Doesn't it make sense that we have been brainwashed? There is no need for war. War is a racket. It makes them richer. The whole point is to disempower us. To stay in control. To maintain monopolies. They suppress technologies, unless they benefit. Didn't you hear the Nine Inch Nails song Happiness In Slavery? Didn't you read 1984? What happened to the peace dividends? And all the other miraculous technological innovations that were supposed to make a better world. I finally woke up after realizing 2 things.
#1- I am being lied to. #2- Everything I know is wrong.
Then i went out and started looking for answers on CSPAN book TV, books, documentaries, websites, RT. I discovered people like Edward G Griffin, Chris Hedges, Abby Martin, there are so many people that are so brave intelligent and willing to stand up, tell it like it is, fight the power. The mainstream is all pseudo-journalism at best, total propaganda at worst. What makes you think that your leaders give a damn about you? I believed that for 50 years, then I woke up. Once you start to see what we are dealing with here, it becomes real easy to see how a few thousand innocent lives could have been sacrificed in New York that day. Cui bono? It totally transformed the world. Bush was the iron fist. Obama is the velvet glove. You need to start listening to Gerald Celente, Marc Farber, Andrew Sutton, Max Keiser, Myron Fagan, Charlotte Iserbyt, Joan Veon. Do you understand what Skull and Bones is?
Love you, brother!

I've heard a great many things about the Federal Reserve and not a single convincing argument about its supposedly nefarious purposes. Have I spent weeks (or years) researching it? No. Quite frankly, I have better things to do with my time.

But that doesn't matter. The burden on proof is on those who make outrageous claims. Just as I have a hard time believing in an omnipotent deity who works miracles and guides our every actions in life, I'm disbelieving of claims that the U.S. government flew missiles into its own buildings in a ploy to use the subsequent paranoia of its citizens to invade two countries, starting an 11-year occupation that has cost over $1 trillion and more than 6000 American casualties, with the only tangible result being a relatively slight increase in domestic security (seriously, as bad as the Department of Homeland Security is, there are much worse governments out there; things could have gone the way Russia is going) and the distrust of any allies we may have had in the Middle East.

Oh, and despite the fact that the government leaks like a broken faucet (they couldn't even keep Stuxnet under wraps), there have been no credible inside sources linking the government to anything but a series of bad decisions that were spun into a casus belli for the futile War on Terror. Whatever trust the population may have had in the government on September 12, 2001 is long gone. We went from blindly accepting that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq to a 12% approval rating in Congress. That was some effective work there, New World Order. Not to mention that they can't even rub out or discredit the people with the supposed evidence of the conspiracy. One would think that an entity able to pull off a false-flag operation as big as 9/11 would be able to plant some child porn on Alex Jones' computer.

There are a lot of holes to plug before I can take this conspiracy theory seriously. I have to make too many assumptions about the infallibility or motivation of the United States government and the existence of some shadowy extra-governmental web of conspirators. The official explanation that terrorists from groups and countries known to intensely dislike the United States (for reasons dating back to CIA meddling during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and our involvement in the Gulf War) were able to take advantage of the complacency and fragmentation of the United States' intelligence agencies and hijack multiple airplanes for use as instruments of destruction is a much simpler, much more credible explanation.

Is the U.S. government faultless? No, they could have easily prevented this had the various intelligence agencies cooperated and shared information linking Muslim fundamentalists to plots involving airplanes. And they certainly did take advantage of the post-9/11 fear to retaliate (the United States has a long, well-documented history rushing headlong into ill-conceived conflicts). But thermite? Controlled demolitions? The murder of nearly 3000 people? That's a lot harder to swallow. It'll take incontrovertible evidence to make me accept that, yet all I've seen by way of explanations are vague coincidences, hand-waving, and promises that proof exists.

TL;DR: I'm skeptical of outrageous claims. I'll disbelieve them until provided with damn good evidence.

Also, I honestly don't know why I'm defending a five-year-old article on a blog I hardly use.
